Never played Zelda (whoops) so i couldnt tell you there. The Sims aspect rather yes, you can select actions, marry people, have kids. Even redecorate houses if
you so wish!
Sometimes its worth just playig for Stephen Fry <3 xD

Is that actually THAT good? I've been told it's like Fallout 3.. but it just looks too cartoonish :/

Well, I've been playing it for almost 12 hours straight. I think that qualifies. It is a bit like Fallout 3, yes, the animation style they use is sort of
what's in vogue right now. It's cartoonish but not in the way you'd expect. Larger than life I think is a better description. I've always been
a fan of the sandbox games. *nods* I dunno if it's your cup of tea, but it's definitely mine!

I cant play fallout 3. It makes me highly motion sick even in 3rd person. However, i was playing boderlands on a mates (since he has it) after a nifty game of
brutal legend (<3 btw) and i found it a lot more fun. Animation goes between 3rd and cartoony and it really works.

I just beat Brutal Legend yesterday, actually! 100% completion, baby! And now have moved on to this bad boy, Borderlands, and since I'm running XOC at the
same time, I guess that's why I'm blathering on about it. *laughs*

Right now I'm playing Neverwinter Nights 2. Pretty fun, but I had to start over as my first character hit 2 out of 50 times. Dunno what happened for it to
suck that much. Sure, 3 hits and most enemies would be dead but they usually come in groups, killing my party members and then go after me. Oh well, my paladin
probably do better.
Tomorrow I will probably play Dragon Age: Origins. I will lock my self in and play through the game before I even consider getting out of the room. I haven't longed for a game this way since... since forever. lol |

I just got a copy of Call of Duty 4. Though I'm not a huge fan of warfare games I do enjoy proving to my co-workers that I'm a better gamer then they
are. Also I recently got ahold of a copy of Galaga for my NES and could play it for hours. Nothing beats the classics.

Terpsichore wrote:Oh yes! Some stores already released it like 5 days to soon but had to pull them back. Anyway, the US get the PC version the 3rd, which is today. Xbox360, PS3 and the rest of the world should get it the 6th. But, as a very impatient person I will get it on the 3rd even if I don't live in the US. I also find that different release dates for different places of the world to be highly ridiculous. by the way... IT'S FREAKING AWESOME!!!! Game of the year in my opinion. Also RPG of the decade. And best sequences, best acting, best story, best everything! It's a must buy IMO. Oh, I also have it. Played through the tutorial then went here. It's truly a dark story.

Left 4 Dead 2 demo, over and over and over and over and over and over and over. It's looking like the greatest 1st person zombie game EVER...

I tend to start a whack of games at the same time. Right now i'm playing;
Dragon Age: Origins - OMG. This game is like my crack. I can't put it down! It's like 'Star Wars: Knight of The Old Republic' in a medieval setting (to me, anyway. It reminds me a lot of the gameplay - which makes total sense, since BioWare were the geniuses behind that too.) It's just really cool. I especially love the blood and the ability to get it on (at least, potential ability from what i can gather) with another chick - because not enough games have that. WET - Badass 'shoot first, stab them, get answers later' chick, voiced by Eliza Dushku. I rest my case. But if you need more than that, it's actually a lot of fun. I like the free-range shooting style and mixing it up with the sword. Sims 3 - Because i can't not play it. It calls to me like a pixelated siren. Beatles Rock Band - ONE ROCK BAND TO RULE THEM ALL. This game seriously rocks my world. I'm a huge Beatles fan and i feel like i've waited forever for this game... the graphical elements of the game are just... stunning. Some of the song choices are a little.... weird. I felt like they threw in some of them so that everyone would have a song on there, as opposed to filling the game with their biggest hits, but it's still amazing. Especially when you have the special bundle with the 'replica' instruments. Vampire The Requiem: Bloodlines - A vampire rpg. ... VAMPIRE. It's an older game, 2004, but it's still pretty damn awesome. The graphics are kind of sucky, but the storyline is cool and you get your very own ghoul (humans who are infatuated with vampires and get off on vamps feeding off of them)... and it's vampires. Big thumbs up I've got too many other ones on the go right now... i need to learn to actually sit and finish a game the whole way through. Last one i did that with was Fable 2... *drools a little* |

Redlance wrote:I finished it Thursday night at 2:30. The Archdemon was just WOAH! You have to look really hard and deep to find a harder boss in a game. Sadly I didn't have any health potions, so I had to keep my healer mage alive all the time, which wasn't easy tbh. Luckily I had like 50 lyrium potions. When I finished the game i felt some kind of emptiness but also pride over my achievement. But now I'm replaying it with an other character. |
