For those of you who may remember LDW from the boards (Grahame), she is in need of some major prayers, thoughts, good vibes, juju, whatever you got! Her heart hasn't been playing very nice in recent years and right now she is in a hospital fighting for her life.
Any kind of love you can share for our fellow Xenite is greatly appreciated.
Please keep my LilMavis in your thoughts.

Patient name- Grahame Snider, Location-Memphis, Room -2940.
Hi guys, so here's the shortened condensed skinny. Her mom has been contacting me on a daily basis to give me updates...be warned that the following may be a little too detailed but I felt it was necessary to share with those who care about her...
11/29- She really really really wasn't doing very well. Her mom was nervous. They put a balloon in her right atrial to help push blood to her organs.
11/30- She had another surgery to insert a a device to pump her heart until a transplant can be found.
12/2- Her mom reports that her daughter is a fighter. She made it thru the first 48 hours with her pump but was still very critical. Her mom ended by saying, "She is a warrior". :') Later on that day her mom reported that it was a good day despite the clot in her leg that had developed that was scheduled to come out.
12/3- Her mom reports she is still holding on. Her heavy duty blood pressure meds are causing her skin to do weird stuff but other than that "she is fighting like a warrior."
12/5- The past 48 has been ups and downs. Brain scans looking for issues. None found, Dr. amazed, but still on the edge of calling it. :/ Then, about an hour later, out of nowhere she became responsive again. Head nods and hand squeezing like a champ! She's noticing people coming in and out of her room, she is watching a little TV, and her mom says she even tried a bit of a smile when her mom was describing the ecards that got delivered today. Her mom says .."we are ready to battle on. working on those baby steps." Excellent news everyone!
12/6- Text from 15mins ago..."Update: Brooke (Grahame's other name lol) was off the vent this morning for 10mins and did wonderful. She's my little warrior!!!" ....YAY! Wonderful news!
12/6- **Posted to her FB page..."Many, many thanks for all the e-cards. (This is Grahame's DAD.) Her mother and I are reading and showing each and every one of them to her. She has "kind of" stabilized and is holding her own for now (with the support of all the machines). We are just taking one day at a time. She IS battling on.....Keep her in your thoughts."
That's a good daddy.
12/8- YAY! Best update so far kids!....."She has had her best day today. She is very alert. She is now asking what has happened and I've told her just as straight as possible. She took the news good, like a trooper. She is and has tried to work toward geting the vent out. I figure over the next day or 2 she'll work hard enough to get it out. She is also moving her foot by herself, shrugging her shoulders by herself and waving bye with her left hand. Praise the Lord and keep the prayers coming!!!-Mom" ...
12/10- New to Facebook..."To Grahame's FB friends (from her DAD), she had a restful night last night, is working on breathing trials so she can get off the ventilator, and is still having to have dialysis from time to time (her kidneys are barely functioning) and remains connected to the VAD (vascular assistive device) to ensure her blood flow, but with that said, she is alert from time to time and nods her head yes and no. As you know, she IS a fighter, and she's started fighting her way back. Her mother and I are very glad to be able to celebrate her 26th birthday today, even if it will be a "in the ICU" celebration. Thank you for all your messages, good thoughts, and well wishes. We read every one of your messages and cards to Grahame. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, as she has a very long and difficult road back to recovery."
12/13- :/...Text this morning..."Doesn't look good. Took a turn for the worse last night. Blood pressure really low....Pray for peace"
Her mom says thanks to all for the thoughts and prayers.
Spread the word to the Xenaverse, keep the ecards flowing to Memphis!
I will post more as I am able.
