Okay guys...
Yuku in their infinite wisdom has saw fit to push out (eventually) a new user interface. They are under the misguided perception and despite all the complaints and grumbling that people will simply "love" the new interface. It looks like the forums had a bad case of diarrhea and splattered all over the front page.
Now you can switch this off by clicking the off button (to make it look like a real forum instead of the confusing and cluttered look). Not knowing how this type of forum will look with a forum with multiple forums, I want some general feedback.
What is your opinion of it?
I'm willing stick with this new interface until our ad views runs out and then look elsewhere. I'm also willing to stick with it, regardless of how crappy it looks. There's probably going to be some customization that we can to make look not horrible.
The problem that we face if we decide to "move off" we cannot take our posts with us. In other words, we'd have two boards. This one and the new one. I'm really not all that keen on that because if we maintain our own board it creates a headache because of the security that would be needed to keep the idiot hackers out. At least with a hosted board, I don't have to worry about it.
