And now that I think about it, this was typed up---I sure would like to know where it went too. At the chakram temple, outside the doors Gabrielle has told Xena to get the chakram *Quote:* Nodding, Xena turns and races to the steps leading up to the Chakram Chamber door. But as she ascends themAres APPEARS, blocking her way. ARES Sorry, Xena. But I warned you. XENA (advancing on him) So did Gabrielleagainst you. Against every instinct I have that says Reaching him, she kisses Ares passionately. AT THE COURTYARD GATE Gabrielle looks up, reacting to see Xena kissing Ares! Instinctively, she draws a sai, throwing it END-OVER-END toward Xena whose sixth sense warns her in time to pull away, leaving Ares to take the brunt of the sai which hits his head, knocking Ares off-balance, and down the stairs. Tossing Gabrielle a grin and wink, Xena bounds up the stairs to the Chakram Chamber door, opend it, and runs inside. Xena joins the two chakrams and she and Ares fights. *Quote:* ARES You just get better and better, dont you? XENA I like to think so. The two exchange blows that leave them locked in close quarters, their faces inches apart. A BEAT, Then Ares grins and shrugs. ARES Catch ya around the Acropolis. And blowing her a sly kiss, he DEMATERIALIZES in her hands. I like the idea that Xena's instincts draw her to Ares -- but don't like the wink and nod exchanged with Gabrielle after the sai toss that knocks out Ares. While the scripted X/A kiss does not seem to be a setup between X & G, there does seem to be a disturbing element of plotting here. Any other thoughts, anyone? Rather than the Joxer whistle at Gabrielle we get: *Quote:* On the flames of a rotisserie cooking food on a spit as we hear: XENA (O.S.) Now that is hot. Immediately PULL BACK and WIDEN to reveal the bustling marketplace where CAMERA FINDS Gabrielle, wearing a pretty but practical outfit, handling a pair of sais appraisingly. Following that is a sort of misunderstanding where Gabrielle thinks they're talking about the sais and Xena is talking about a scarf. It also describes the Chakram of Light as a SILVER-WHITE CHAKRAM throughout the script, which gives me the impression that the two chakrams weren't supposed to be identical... Also, disappointingly, the Ares not being able to move Eli thing, isn't in here. Heroine Addiction

Been confused for years now over a photo from the episode of Xena and Ares kissing outside the temple which was not featured in the aired episode. Cool, perhaps they filmed this part but it was edited out. Phew, thats a load of confusion off my mind lol.
