Hmm... Tesla is a great character but I prefer to think of him as the elegant and worthy frenemy. He's too arrogant and narcissistic and his arrogance clashes with Helen's balanced nature. Mk, I realize that statement sounds a bit weird coming from a Helen/John shipper ;p Probably because I think it's different kind of contrast between Helen and John. Their relationship is so deliciously complex; more angst, more hurdles to overcome, more possible story-lines ;D Can't wait to see what's going to happen in S3, now that it's absolutely clear John's not entirely at fault for his urges.

Only thing that kinda bugs me about the series is the huge amount of questions they left unanswered. I'm fine with the format - the episodes resembling snapshots of a story rather than the whole story in detail. Still, I'd like to be handed some clues sometimes. Like... How did Helen's father make it into our century? The most probable explanation is that the Cabal kept him in some kind of stasis... but it's only a theory, not canon. Not that I mind creating my own theories
