Here it is, the end of June and the Cubs are like seven gams under .500. The starting pitching is frustrating, their offense is lacking. This year is turning about to be the year of the big fat noting. Even the southsiders (white sox) are struggling. The Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup, a blessing. The Bears do what they've done most years since 1986--which is, they suck.
How is everyone else's favorite sports teams doing this year? Disappointed? Do you expect your teams to cut people loose or trade them away for better talent or smaller payrolls?
I look for the Cubs to make trades before the trading deadline. I don't expect th Cubs to have the same opening day line up. Or even the lineup from today's game... :/
