For me it was in The Abyss when Gabrielle tells Xena she want's to be burried in Amphipolis with her rather than with her own family. And for me, it was a lot earlier. I mean, not neccessarily that they had a wedding ceremony, but that they considered each other family, and spouses/partners for life. I think really after the rift, like in a Family Affair when Xena said something about finding their way together. And definately once baby Eve was born, they were a family.
