I defintely want them there, of course, that's not a question. I just love everything about a con in general. But that's just me, I know. I wish they'd start adding more people but it might be a little while. Hope not too long, though, I wanna start getting excited! It's just...well, the show is Xena Warrior Princess, and I want to meet Xena. Err...I mean Lucy... I don't think Hudson regularly attends the cons. But I'm hoping since this is a big one that she might also be there. That said, I'm going no matter who the guests are!! It's going to be an awesome experience regardless!! I'm a Xenite, and I'm excited--there's no way I'm cancelling!!

After I wrote that and was driving home from work, I wondered if I was being insensitive to those who haven't seen her before and who are wanting to see her. I hope I wasn't but if I was, forgive me. That wasn't my intention. One Star General Posts: 1584 08/28/09 11:10 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	My first con was all about the stars as well. I met some friends that I knew from online, they had tickets to the con and it was the middle of day two and they hadn't even been in the AUDITORIUM yet!! I was completely confused - like - you come to a con and don't watch the people on stage?!?! It blew me away and I couldn't make sense of it at all!! The second con, I kinda figured out what they meant. They weren't there for the celebs... they were there for the Xenites. They had friends from all over the world - that's why they had come to LA. of course, when Claire Stansfield was due on stage they were in the hall in an INSTANT! LOL - so I guess it depends on who you're there to see... but it does make more sense to me now, after meeting so many xenites.... I didn't want to miss a SECOND of official con action at my first con - but at the second one, I was strolling in and out (and in the case of Robert Trebor, I was making a beeline to the door when he got on stage!!) - it's definitely about the company and the atmosphere more than the person on stage. Again, that said, there are celebs I wouldn't miss for the world... like Ren or Luce. Or Ms Pratt... drools lol. I would suggest coming though, even if the girls don't come. They totally will... hopes - but yeah - don't throw away the opportunity for an AMAZING experience. The ladies being there might be the highlight of your weekend, but I promise there are so many other amazing and wonderful, kind hearted people that you will miss out on meeting if you don't come. I promise you an amazing weekend regardless of the stars. 'Cuz, if you're hanging out with Xenites, that's just how we roll! grins *...
