Did Rob actually write all the scripts, or just the story outlines for some of them?

My favorites are all the top writers for the show -- RJ Stewart (Sins of the Past, Callisto, Return of Callisto, A Day in the Life, The Furies, Gabrielle's Hope, The Debts, Adventures in the Sin Trade I & II, Crusader, Ides of March, Fallen Angel, Motherhood, Old Ares Had a Farm, Steve Sears (Dreamworker, Hooves & Harlots, The Greater Good, Orphans of War, Intimate Stranger, Destiny, The Price, The Lost Mariner, The Dirty Half Dozen, The Deliverer, When in Rome..., Sacrifice I, A Good Day, Endgame, Succession), and Chris Manheim (Altared States, A Comedy of Eros, Maternal Instincts, A Family Affair, Paradise Found, Chakram, Eternal Bonds, Livia), probably tied for first place. Adam Armus and Norah Kay Foster also had some great scripts -- Ties That Bind, The Xena Scrolls, Blind Faith, Warrior ... Priestess ... Tramp, Fins, Femmes & Gems, In Sickness and in Hell, If the Shoe Fits. This is only a partial listing of all of their episodes, btw -- I'm leaving out my less favorite ones (like The Way and A Friend in Need for RJ and Between the Lines for Steve Sears).

Among the writers who only wrote a few episodes, I would definitely single out the late Hilary Bader, who had four hits and not one miss: Been There Done That, The Quill Is Mightier, Forget Me Not, Locked Up & Tied Down. Paul Robert Coyle, mostly a Hercules writer, wrote Ten Little Warlords, A Necessary Evil, Sacrifice II, and Armageddon Now I. Chris Black wrote Amphipolis Under Siege and You Are There. Oh, and George Strayton and Tom O'Neill wrote Seeds of Faith and Eve, and Patricia Manney wrote Is There a Doctor in the House. Also, let's not forget Noreen Tobin and Gene O'Neill -- One Against an Army and Armageddon Now II.

As for script writers I'm not so partial to ... among the semi-regulars, at least in Season 6 -- Joel Metzger. He wrote two of the seasons's worst eps, IMO -- The Haunting of Amphipolis and The Last of the Centaurs , plus Dangerous Prey which was just kinda ... meh ... and his original screenplay for Path of Vengeance reeked before it was fixed up by R.J. Stewart. My other thumbs-down goes to Melissa Blake for Soul Possession (ewww). Jeff Vlaming's two scripts (Takes One to Know One and Purity were pretty mediocre.
