Wow Kizzy, so sorry to hear this, I know I was very upset when they deleted my first account earlier this year, I made a new one but I'm constantly in fear of it being taken down. It's no way for a fan to feel or be made to feel!
We should be free to express ourselves as long as it's lawful and not hurting anyone! Are we actually hurting these companies? NO! We bloody well aren't in fact through my videos and others videos people actually go out and BUY the music or BUY the movie/TV show!!! Things they wouldn't have done with seeing that fan vid!! I've done it myself!! Hell I wouldn't even BE as big a Xena fan as I am now without fanvids, neither would I have found and BOUGHT CDs I love and Movies I love!! And I damn well buy the stuff I like, money in the big companies pockets they wouldn't have got WITHOUT me watching a fan video!!!!!!!
I was subbed to your channel Kizzy and you are a loss, a huge loss to the Xena fan vid makers on there, but not the first or anywhere the last, I don't think YT is going to stop until we are all gone or at least paying an arm and leg for the 'honor'

Imeem has now gone the same way, all my videos have been taken down and I know many others have suffered the same fate...the places we can go are getting smaller and smaller as we are pushed from one corner to another until finally we'll have no where left...but what can we do against these greedy companies? nothing....nothing at all and that just makes me feel sick the fact these greedy people can CONTROL us!
I remember when Youtube was a place of fun and sharing, a place where you could go and watch a music video without it being 'blocked in your country', I'm sick of the damn place sick to the back teeth and I'm too scared to upload anything new.
One of my friends was crying her eyes out a few days ago because Youtube BANNED her Michael Jackson video, a heartfelt tribute she'd made to a man that meant a hell of a lot to her! How can they do that? What gives them the right to treat people like dirt?! People without which Youtube would not even be half as big as it is today! I know I hardly ever go on to YT to look for news reports or home movies, or full movies or TV shoes, I go to watch fan vids and music videos I'm pretty sure most on here could say the same!

The Piratebay had said they would create a site just like YT but would ignore ALL legal requests to take anything down, since Piratebay have sold there company on to a big greedy company after all the court case stuff we can kiss that idea goodbye. It was nice while it lasted, but money speaks it seems.
I think it's a great idea about creating a new site we can upload to, but I'm afraid it's only a matter of time before the companies find us and start threatening that site with legal jargon that only makes sense to a monkey's backside!
I'm afraid until someone who has the time AND money to fight these people and take them to court to see it is actually fair use we are a doomed people us fan vid makers
