Another one that was frequently used by someone I used to chat with is "BFN" -- "bye for now." For some reason I totally coulnd't memorize that one and kept asking her what it meant. On a similar note, there's "TTYL" for "talk to you later." And then there are funny ones like "MYOB" or "mind your own business." Let's not forget the fandom-specific acronyms: YAXI -- Yet Another Xena Inconsistency TPTB -- The Powers That Be, i.e. the producers (that one used to confuse me a lot when I first got into the fandom!)
