no offence, but that is easily said if one lives in the country where the conventions are happening. For me (living in Germany) it would be much more expensive because of the travelling costs and that is just too much for me.
I would like to see Lucy (and Hudson Leick) personally at least once, but her coming here at least once seems to be asked too much.
On the other hand, I don't know, whether I would pay such a price as LadyKate listed. What am I paying for? It is not as if there is a sort of program (like Lucy giving a concert f.e. as she on other occasions does).
So I think I will never be on a convention.
I know it's a long way to travel. It all comes down to personal choice and
ability, I just know that I've had an amazing time at these conventions and I just want others to experience that fun, too, if they can. I didn't mean
to disregard those who live in other countries who can't travel to a con.
that was the only reason why I wanted to go so much, so I was extremely upset when I
couldn't go. Now that I'm not so obsessed any more, even though I would still LOVE to see her, and would only consider going if she was there, it's
not really that important to me as it once was. Don't get me wrong though, I would still like to go one day, and well I might even be able to go to the
next one....I'm just not that hopeful though cause of the money situation.
