DEFINITELY A Solstice Carol. Again, it doesn't seem very well liked....saddd...but I absolutely adore it...it's one of my fave eps!

The Execution - it seldom shows up on anyone's lists, and the story does contain a few holes. Yet it is a very enjoyable episode with a lot of well played emotional turmoil.

The Xena Scrolls. It's one of my all time favorite epiosdes, I just LOVE seeing Gabrielle (Janice) play the hero.

Xena Studies Ph.D.

I voted for The Lost Mariner. A Comedy of Eros and Blind Faith are also great eps but I think they're usually rated pretty highly. Maybe it's just my impression but TLM seems to rarely show up on lists of favorites. Sure the F/X are lame but there are a lot of great things about this ep, including themes of love and friendship and the way it reworks and combines different myths.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun is underrated imo, I like the rap-like music in that scene where Gabby is dancing.

I liked the other episodes too.

I voted for Blind Faith.

I think, as far as 'warlord of the week' episodes go, it is the perfect episode. It has a great character in Palaemon, a likeable secondary character in Vidalis, great acting, in particular from Lucy, great one liners....and a brilliant opening fight!!!

Which, as we all know, is the main thing.

'Warrior . . . Princess . . . Tramp'. Gabrielle tends to look like a dolt at times, but it's cute and funny. Plus some of LL's line deliveries as Meg are hysterical. I also like 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' and 'Ulysses' (although the first two are much better).

I hope I understand the word "underrated" right: theme is "unrecognised greatness", right?

Then it is definitely EIN SIEG FÜR DIE GERECHTIGKEIT/THE EXECUTION.

A quite complicated story, Gabrielle misjudging a good friend, the very conscientiously working judge is a corrupted power-hungry dictator in the end...this is how a godd episode is done.

Just think of the meaning of the word "justice": first it is a symbol of a good government/administration of justice this town seems to enjoy. But more and more it becomes a hollow phrase Judge Arbus just uses for a lame excuse (only the fact that killing a culprit is never just weakens this process a bit).

Wow, this was tough. The show really hit its stride in season 2, and every episode that season was at least good if not excellent or outright outstanding. So I had a hard time choosing but finally went with For Him the Bell Tolls. This often ends up on peoples' least favorite lists and I really do not know why. It was the first and possibly the best Joxer-centric episode. (Maybe I just answered my own question! )

Same for The Giant Killer, Ulysses and occasionally The Lost Mariner and Her She Comes Miss Amphipolis. Solid episodes all.

Warrior...Princess...Tramp, A Comedy of Eros, and The Xena Scrolls shouldn't have even made the list, they are all so great!

I went with A Solstice Carol. I watch it every Christmas! Plus, the part where Xena gives Gabs the lamb is absolutely priceless! It gets an "awww" from me everytime!

The Lost Mariner is my choice. I think it was a very good story about love (It's more important to remember the love you can give instead of the love that you receive.), friendship, and it was also an interesting adventure.

I really liked it!
I liked Gabrielle's dealing with Xena's fling, I liked how the show added a new element to the myth, I liked it all!

yeah the Solstice Carol is my second choice for sure...I think it's a great Christmas episode, sort of a Christmas Carol/the story of baby Jesus/Xena story all wrapped up in one. And the lamb...

(too bad she ruined it by giving it to Hope later on but ah well...)

Out of this list definitely The Lost Mariner. Great episode, nice story, and some great secondary characters. Always thought it was a shame we never saw Ceycrops again.

I voted for Here She Comes... Miss Amphipolis, I loved this episode. Miss Congeniality is one of my favourite films, and I love the similarities

I've never really heard it praised much, so that's why I voted for it.

The Lost Mariner comes in close second place for me.

That is a debate...!! however i like the episode becuase it is quite romantic, action and includes myth

From the list - The Execution.

Some cool Xena and Gabrielle conflict. A bit of a "murder mystery". And the very telling line about people in Xena and Gabrielle's "line of business" not growing old.

I voted for Here She Comes . . . Miss Amphipolis. It's one of my favorite season two episodes. Why? Mostly because we get to see Xena in a light that we rarely see, and I've always loved beauty pagents!
