It was between that and Dreamworker, but I think most people like Dreamworker, while COW gets a lot of flak because Xena and Gabrielle spend more time with their respective "boy toys" than they do with each other. I liked seeing Xena's softer side through her interaction with Darius and his kids, and Lucy's acting in the arrow removal scene was fantastic.

Yes there was some duff acting in it, but we caught a glimpse of naughty Xena, and saw Gabrielle sacrificing travelling with Xena because she thought it was best and of course standing up to her with a pitch fork. Great episode, and it really headed a strong tail end to s1.
