I read a beautiful wedding fic some time ago (I won't say some years ago, because that just makes me sound old... ), and as a matter of fact it just may have been one of LadyKate's (to be honest, it wouldn't surprise me... ) Any help locating similar would be GREATLY appreciated. The first one is ONLY FOR HIM by Serenity Sea. Xena takes the ambrosia herein (at the end of the story). The second one is GOODBYE by Cat. Here Ares and Gabrielle together bring Xena back from Japan (post-AFIN). These are the two examples I found. Sorry, that nothing fits Your description better.

I'm pretty positive I've never written a wedding fic, because I'm not a huge fan of the genre to be honest. Also not a huge fan of Goddess!Xena fics, though I did enjoy a couple of Serenity Sea's stories (aw, I miss Serenity Sea -- wish she'd come back! ). Oh, and secular atrophy had a great "role reversal" fic with Xena, Goddess of War and Ares, Warrior Prince. And dang it, I keep forgetting what it was called ... "Sweet Provenance"?
