UMG WILL deny it. WMG, eventually the "dispute submitted" will disappear and your video will continue to play untouched. And if the entire thing is blocked it doesn't necessarily mean it's because of the footage. They can't ID footage on upload but they can ID audio because of their scripts. They don't have video scripts however so the only way it could be tracked down would be through tags and that takes time and is not immediate. I've just filled out one of the dispute forms. fingers crossed Unfortunately for one of my videos it's not letting me go to any dispute form. It doesn't even say that the audio is blocked anymore (though it is). ETA: Wow, that was fast! I had a couple get caught and blocked because of the footage. On one vid they even said that the video had been blocked because i used The Prodigal. However mine now generally get blocked because of songs. ....but not so perminantly anymore My YouTube Channel

I definitely haven't heard of that one before. I had no idea they actually did that and could recognize footage that way (odd that they submitted The Prodigal). Once I uploaded the Heart of Darkness dance bit on Youtube, and they immediately blocked it, saying Universal owned the rights. So I took it off.

If they close my account that would bite the big one, but it wouldn't be as suckful as not being able to upload vids, and having the old ones blocked. It was pretty much turning into a shadow an account anyway. It felt like my account was dying a slow and painful death... but now people can watch my stuff and its fun again I hope my account remains up but fingers crossed No guts, No glory!!
