Nice to see there is another Scrubs fan on the board! I saw both of them, missed most of the second one. I LOVED the second one, the scene at the end between J.D., Turk, and their patient George was amazing! I loved to see them talk George through his death, and J.D.'s usual voiceover gave thoughtful insight to the general insight of death. I also loved Dr. Cox (my favorite character) in the first episode, but I was disappointed that I did not see him in the second episode (although I am sure he was in it, I just missed it). I also enjoyed Courtney Cox's character. Her personality as it relates to the medical field will def. 'spice up' this season! Can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds in store! Royal Posts: 5135 (01/07/09 6:39 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I also loved Dr. Cox (my favorite character) in the first episode, but I was disappointed that I did not see him in the second episode (although I am sure he was in it, I just missed it). You didn't miss anything--he wasn't there. Neither was Elliot, Kelso, or the Janitor (all the actors are taking two eps off this season, even Zach Braff/JD). Surprisingly, though, I didn't really mind their absence. The storyline with JD, Turk and George was so strong that I didn't feel like any other characters or subplots were needed. But Dr. Cox is my favorite, too. His chat with JD was one of the few good parts of the first ep IMO. I didn't really care for Dr. Maddox or any of the new interns. They don't really add anything to the show IMO, and Dr. Maddox is basically just a female and less funny version of Dr. Kelso. I'm glad she's only going to be around for a few eps. And it's true that Zach, Judy and Bill are leaving. They haven't decided yet if it's going to be the last season, but I personally hope it is because I don't see how the show can continue without JD. I'm not sure how they will continue and it is never good news when the brains behind the whole thing leaves (i.e. West Wing after Aaron Sorkin was never the same). There was talk that a whole new lot of interns will effectively take over or Turk or Elliott will be the voice but I think that is only people's musings.
