About life decisions, what I would suggest is sitting down, looking at the various pros and cons of each possibility and assessing how they match with your personal talents, wishes, goals and desires, and picking the one that seems to fit best. But I do think that, when doing this, it's important to be *realistic* and *honest* about both the options presented and your own personality, skills, weaknesses, desires, etc. IMO it's not uncommon for people to pick a path that seems cool, interesting, exciting, etc. while ignoring, minimizing or downplaying real ways in which it doesn't fit for them. (For example, my mom went into mental health because she "wanted to help people," while utterly failing to take into account that she Does Not Deal Well with intense interpersonal interaction. Or my brother--he went for an English degree while downplaying the fact that there just aren't that many jobs out there for English majors, only to bail halfway through his program when it finally sank in just how much time he'd be putting in for how little hope of return.) If there's a factor about a job, relationship, etc. that you dislike now, you probably aren't going to like it any better in a few years, so unless you can find ways to avoid, minimize, or mitigate that factor, you should probably think twice about making that decision. That's my advice, anyway.
