We got the first 2 free seats and already thought that nobody would come. After 1 hour back to the movies to take our seats and ..........................full house.
Allright, movie starts (without the credits cause they came at the end).As the previews on TV already show a lot of funny things, we were ofcourse curious about Lucy.
After a few beginning scenes she already pops up as the receptionist. From reviews, etc everybody told they she is only briefly seen in the movie. Well it is more then briefly.
The scenes at the reception are from a normal length time and oh boy, she is goooooooood. She can play everything. And I love the faces she can put on and gives you the feeling what a character she plays. She plays Aspen and plays with the directors` son. And the main thing in the story is that the character of Adam Sandler tries to get back his job as it was once promised to his father by the new hotel director.
Lucy returns several times back within the same relation with the director`s on plot but always being a little bit different, aswell as the outfits.
As receptionist she starts in a nice 2-piece custom as every receptionist has. Then we have the bedtime story scene wherein she is just a few seconds (blinking secs) as a greek girl. That is really a very short short short appearance.
Next Bedtime story is a sci-fi. There she is put into a custom of a kind of sea-creature. Face fluo-red and instead of hands she has the crabthings. That is the custom where was talked about that people had the most poblems to get her out of it. Logic, that you only get to see her in a sitting position. hehehehe!
At a poolparty she is dressed up in Hawaian style, same outfit behind the piano at time that the 2 guys are competiting to get the honor of doing something new with the hotel.
The story comes to a good end and as in all stories the badguys and bad girls need to be punished. So the director`s son and Aspen, are turned into the servents of Adam Sandler character. Dressed up as a maiden with plumeau.
I loved the film, it was a film as only Walt Disney can make it. Funny, exciting, with a lot of laughter, relaxed, etc .......... You never get bored. Walt Disney!!!
Can`t wait to have the DVD.
And I now I cross my fingers that more people will ask for Lucy as Adam Sandler did. She is super and she plays everything. Go go go Lucy! Hope this is the start for bigger projects.
