We've got a thread discussing what everyone *got* for Christmas, so I figured I'd start one where people could post what they *gave* for Christmas too.
We got my dad the second-season Doctor Who DVD's (he's turned into a big fan), and "The King of Kong," a quirky little video game documentary that I thought he would get a kick out of. For hubby's parents, we got his mom a set of baking pans (she had been complaining she needed them at Thanksgiving), and some books for his dad, and for my brother and sister-in-law a gift card to their favorite restaurant and a Chicago Cookbook.

funny license plate, smaller than regular ones, that you either can place in the front of a baby carriage, or, in his case, in the rear window. It says (and
translating freely, and probably badly here) "speed nut" or "speed lunatic" - something along those lines.
