My fellow PLA'ers, it's time to get your artistic gears a-workin! Considering the holidays are fast approaching, I think we should honor our Queen by creating some pieces featuring none other than Gabrielle herself.

The Bard: From the first moment the spunky strawberry blond latched on to her warrior, she had the rest of us hooked. The innocence and talent she has displayed is incredible, and I think we would all be lying if we said her antics never got an "Awwww" out of us. Show your love for Baby Gabs, and create a piece that will illustrate just how this lovely woman captured our hearts in the first place.

The Temptress: We all know that Gabrielle has the power to make us all weak in the knees, so create a work of art that showcases this. Whether its the subtle looks and gestures she so easily throws out, or the downright blatant seduction she shows off in HOD, and WG?, its all up to you! The only requirement is... Make us melt!

The Warrior: Our Queen has her own set of skills, and boy, did she ever show us! Gabrielle is a warrior in her own right, no matter what weapon she carried. She held herself to what she felt was right and followed through with it, causing even the God of War to take a liking to her. Its up to you to create a work of art showing off our Queens skills, because we all know, the student has surpassed the master.

Wall Papers, Banners, and Drawings

Banners - 300 to 500 width. Height can be between 100 and 200.

Wallpapers - 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600 is a good standard size or 1280 x 960 for a wide screen piece
Drawings - No size limit

Each contestant can only enter one piece per category. Judging will begin the day after the contest closes, so January 15, 2009, and will be done through polls that will be placed in The Alexandria Library & Gallery. There will be a separate poll for each of the art formats within each category. Depending on the number of drawings received, drawings may be judged together, regardless of what category they are placed under.

Post your entries in this thread via yuku, photobucket or whatever photo sharing site you like and I will update this post with links to the current entries.

All 1st and 2nd place winners will receive a banner or button that they can place in their sigs, on their yuku profile etc about their contest win. The person who has the most wins will be the one to make this banner/button if they so choose. Otherwise, I can make them.
