My mum told me the best story, she's an occupational therapist and works at a retirement home. Today she'd been in one of the day-rooms for the oldsters and was a little surprised when she realised the TV was on showing "Xena:Warrior Princess". I don't know why, but I get a total kick out of the notion that a bunch of 80+ are spending their mornings watching the Warrior Princess. Xena at a retirement home just feels so out of place, and wasn't something I was expecting until I went to live at one.
