I wrote a post about it on another board a few months ago, so I'll c&p it here.

Yeah, it's ancient, but I only just saw it, 'cause it was given to me as a gift (by a friend who found it in a dollar bin ^^; ). Oh my gosh, it is so bad! The animation style looks so bad. . . I dunno, maybe they were trying to be oldschool? But it just looks weird to me. The plot lacks a lot of the camp and cheese that made the original shows worth watching (it seems like they played it a bit too straight or something?). Also-- horror of horrors!-- Gabby spends most of the movie as a bird, so not only does she not get many lines, but there's no XenaXGabby subtext ;_; ! The storyline is idiotic (Zeus brings a human lover to Olympus, so in revenge Hera lets the Titans free to take over the world? Not very equal or reasonable punishment!) Probably a minor gripe, but I'd rather have seen more Olympians and Titans. They seemed not to know much about Titans, actually, like since when was Porphyrion a Titan at all, or Mnemosyne associated with fire? These are the kinds of things people could've researched before doing a movie, if they weren't so lazy . Not sure if I'll ever have any reason to watch this again. All it really did was make me wish I had copies of the real shows to watch instead!

Maybe I should watch it again and see how much I still agree with my original assessment.
