Lucy was interviewed via a cell phone that kept breaking up and becoming distorted. In response to Jack E. Jett's prompts, she talked about [I paraphrase]:

Daisy ('one of the coolest chicks' Jack E Jett's come across), Xena, her previous appearance on the Jack E Jett show, Celebrity Duets (singing with Smokey Robinson three times), how she likes singing 'down and dirty rock', meeting Patty Smith, her attitude towards one day singing cabaret (it's small, and Lucy likes things to be 'big and nasty and out there'), watching Liza Minelli, Sappho in Pleasure Dome 'a gritty, gnarly, little bit gender-bending world', what she has to do to gain rock chick credibility (take drugs like Amy Winehouse, 'shave her cooch'), her plans for her January concert at the LA Roxy and the Xena con, her fans ('stick with the fans and they'll stick with you'), the L Word (she played 'a police investigator' [at least I think that's what she said]), her CD 'Come to Me', the prospect of doing corporate gigs, Sarah Palin ('she doesn't ring true to me'), regretting not being able to vote.
