But most of those characters personalities were years in the creation with comic books and radio shows. Xena and gabrielle were created as the show went along. I feel, personally, that the show is in it's own genre. Sometimes the magic is only there once, and the whole world lucked out when Lucy and Renee were chosen for these parts. I can understand how some people wouldn't mind another pair giving it a go, but I just can't imagine it, and don't want to. How many flops of remakes have their been lately? It might actually be easier to ask you to name the good remakes. (not that there aren't some good ones) I agree with Pandora, making a show that is in the same timeframe, mentioning Xena but with new characters would work. See how good all the Star Treks went (well except enterprise lol) But the thought of someone else playing Gabrielle? Xena? Chris Reeve will always be Superman <3 , but I've learned to appreciate some of the other actors in their own way, like I think Tom Welling isn't bad at playing he young Clark still figuring himself out (and I just made it sound like he was gay ^^;;; !). I think I could appreciate another Xena and Gabby, as long as they played the parts well.

I wouldn't like it if Xena ended up a phenomenon like James Bond having one movie after the other and with a different cast all the time. Which made me think that why do we even need a movie? We have 6 seasons of this show - WITH the original cast, WITH the emotion... For me it's enough. (But of course IF they made the movie, I'd still go to watch it.) Even after he couldn't move anymore, he was still a superman, and that's just part of why he was so cool <3 .

So I have to watch something new to be happy
