Ya...I'm having that problem now. Months ago I bought Oblivion II: The Elder Scrolls and the first time I played it I couldn't even get past the first level. Tonight I did only to find out that the decisions you make only take up MORE of the game. You have to decide what to steal/carry, what to wear, what weapon to use, what food to keep, what race you want to be, what you want to look like, what sex you want to be, what powers you want and what 'sign' you want to be born under. I was surprised they didn't make me choose whether or not I wanted to be a virgin! Not to mention that I kept getting arrested for NOTHING and I keep wandering aimlessly around the marketplace because I can't find my way out! I seriously shake like that when I get irritated...or I do this... I'm doing both of those actually. I HATE VIDEO GAMES and yet I play them...-le sigh-

This game is still pretty fun, but they need to rework something about how they save. That is what fustrates me!! Also, it is kind of hard to figure out your own way through the game without getting a walk through from somewhere on the internet to help tell you where to go. I still havn't beaten the game because I am stuck before fighting one boss with half a health drop left and I didn't bother starting the game all over just to find more save tokens. If I get hit once by the boss it's all game over. The cool thing is I bought this game waaay before I even knew about Xena or Sam Raimi/Bruce Campbell and I just wanted a lot of blood and zombies!

It's just such a HUGE game and you have to make decisions from the start - before you understand how they will affect you. I pretty much made my first character, and then abandoned her after I figured out what I was doing. It took me awhile to figure out how to level also, but once you get it, there's nothing to it. After awhile you start to make sense of things and realize you don't have to do everything. The path you take depends on what you want to do with your character. I have 3-4 characters and I do different things/go different places with each of them. I probably would have only played this game for about a week, but when I found myself having Xena or Everquest withdrawl, it was the only thing that was even a little bit similiar, so I started playing again. Now that I understand it better, Oblivion is my main game of choice. The user made mods are really cool...they add a whole bunch of new things to the game...from stores to characters to quests to weapons and armor! They even have Xena mods...which I keep meaning to post pictures of The game that drove me crazy was Hitman. I really like stealth based games like Splinter Cell, but Hitman was SO stinking difficult!! I don't think I ever got past the second level. I also just bought Assassin's Creed off of Ebay, but I can't play it because my CPU isn't fast enough! Argh!! That's annoying. My computer is only 2-3 years old!! Grrr.

It's still frustrating as there are some glitches but after you get into the swing of things it gets pretty addicting. I do agree that it's annoying that you have to pick things that will affect you from the very beggining because once I figured that out I was too far into the game and definitely didn't want to start over again. It kinda sucks that I have it for the PS3 though because there are so many more patches for the CPU version. Unfortunately my PC is way too slow for a game that big. It would probably crash as soon as I installed it. [Keepership made by Meg][Meg's lover]

I played it for the first time at my relative's house this weekend. And I kept getting STUCK! Finally, after not being able to escape from a room, I gave up and decided to play something else. Grrrr I prefer RE4's control/camera system anyways. Oh, and also the Water Temple on Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Especially if you stop playing it for awhile when you are midway through the temple, forget about it, then pick it up again, you will NEVER be able to beat the temple. Walk forward, fall down in pit, fly out of the pit, fall back into the pit, fly back out of the pit, get molested by some doctor, fall down a pit, fly back out of the pit, back to the pit, out of the pit, the doc, the pit, the pit, the pit, dead. I had to go through ALL that text again!! Lucky I bought it from work (EB Games) where we have a 7 day return policy if you dont like a game, got something else instead ~* No I am not a new member...real life just got in the way for a while. I plan on re-immersing myself in this fandom asap! So many fandoms - so little time :( *~

RAAM is the most frustrating piece of sh*t i have ever played. hes just so hard, and inconsistant!! the krill, dont get me started.. oh GOD!!! other than that, i find persistance, internet walkthroughs, etc help lol Oh, and also the Water Temple on Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I play the games for the storyline and this one has a great one that dragged me in but my lord is it frustrating the jumps are near impossible and if you fall you are sometimes better off killing yourself then trying to make your way back up to where you were. Well, I used to get most frustrated at Metal Gear Solid 1, Not because it was actually frustrating, just because I would NOT give in when I was having trouble in a boss battle.. So i'd get reeeeally wound up and start cursing like a sailor .. But i've completed that game 7 times now, so it doesn't annoy me anymore. Also.. the Crash Bandicoot games for PS1.. They annoyed me mostly because my sister would always laugh at the funny ways in which he dies.. and i'd get p-ssed off with her.. So obviously the more annoyed I got, the more I die, the more she laughed.. and so the cycle continues. I can't think of any games that generally are frustrating, though.. I usually just get annoyed because i've been playing too long and my patience is wearing thin... -looks over at Xbox and PS2 games- .. nu, I love them all. I just need anger management classes. ETA: Oh oh oh... The Call of Duty games on Veteran level. Dear frackin' Christ.. I've completed COD 2, 3 and 4 on Veteran.. [halfway through doing 5] I have never been so frustrated.. or so close to actually getting physically violent than when i'm playing those games. You cannot hold me. You could as soon try to contain a star.

Warrior-in-Training Posts: 8 (04/07/09 8:41 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Resident Evil 5 - 2nd part of the 1st Wesker fight vs 'battlesuit woman' (spoiler removed just incase) - Professional Difficulty One person needs to grab her from behind, and the other shoot a small device on her chest, if you miss you'll hurt her, if it's too strong a weapon you'll kill her instantly. Altogether this device needs to be shot around 8 times, all the while she's doing backflips, flying kicks and shooting at you. 1 hit from anything will knock you to 'Dying status' where your partner has 1 second to get next to you and heal you. And god help you if battlesuit throws you! Your partner has 1 sec to save you, the anim of getting up off the ground is over 1 sec! Instant Fail. This took 20+ attempts, though when I get into the teens, I tend to get some aggression out and blow her head off with a magnum as soon as the level restarts xD lol
