The people that know me know that I am a HUGE animal rights person. I hate the mistreating of any animal; period! There are som animals that scare me (whales, don't ask why) but that doesn't mean I want them to die. Recently I've been growing increasingly angry at the fact that dolphins (and whales) are being slaughtered for meat packing in Japan and Europe. It's probably done in other places as well but I haven't heard anything about it. Many grocers in Japan stop selling dolphin and whale meat after it is brought to their attention about how these animals are treated but the people that slaughter them still find ways to make profit off of it.

Some of you may say 'Well, they have to make a career somehow' but even if that were true they kill more than a dozen of them simply because they don't need them! They fill their order and the ones that are left over from the round up are beaten to death and are left there. If you kill an animal (for any reason) all of it should be used. Killing an animal for no reason whatsoever makes no sense, especially when it's done in such a brutal way!

I support other animals as well but at the moment this senseless act is what upsets me the most!
