For me, it's the end of the end of Two to Go. "I'd like to test that theory." I screamed out loud, the only time in seven years of watching. That moment gave me goosebumps. A lot of great Giles moments. I love towards the end of Helpless, after he's been being so scary, he gets fired for becoming too attached to his slayer, and takes the rag and gently wipes Buffy's wounded head. Also Hush, Giles' illustrations of the Gentlemen with excessive blood everywhere-on knife, floor, all over. Plus Buffy thinks he drew her too fat. Just hilarious!

Mayor Wilkins says to him "spunky little girl you've got there. I'm going to eat her." And Giles just takes that foil off the table and drives it into the Mayor's chest with such affronted fury........ See, this is what I love most about Giles. Buffy could probably toss him bodily around the room for a couple of hours and not even get winded - she's the thing that darkness fears - and yet Giles is so protective of her, loves her so much, he'd try and kill and unkillable thing because it threatened her. I love that when it comes to Buffy, he's capable of murder.

I'm gonna say the Yoko Factor when Willow accidently reveals to both him and Xander that Tara is her girlfriend. Giles is not actually in the scene but the way he delivers the "bloody hell" line after hearing Willow's confession just gets me everytime.
