1. Ares' sacrifice and Xena's thank-you in Motherhood 2. The kiss and farewell in Coming Home 3. The exchange in You Are There after Aphrodite regains her godhood -- Ares offering Xena the apple, "I guess you know I'll never stop trying/I'd expect nothing less," Xena's wistful look as Ares walks away 4. Wow, tough, but I'll give it a try.
1. Scorpion talk in POV 2. Giving up his godhood and her thank you 3. When Ares sees Xena again after 25 years. 4. Her 'suicide' on the beach and the ice crypt confession. 5. The EB dream. Honorable mentions! The Tango The scene where he tries to warn her about Agathon The temple scenes in AUS The kiss during the bacchanalia because it was so obvious it wasn't 'just business' between them. The kiss during SP - sorry LK, but he just looked so cute all flustered because his girl kissed him. I could probably keep going but I'm sure there's a limit to posting space. |

It's hard to exclude any and decide which ones to put in the top five.
1. Xena bandages Ares, TLW 2. Xena and Ares meet in the woods, TDHD 3. The dream, EB 4. Ares gives up his godhood in MH 5. The scorpion and the swan, POV And of course, I have more: the temple scene in AUS, the jail scenes in TR, the bed scene in OAHAF, the end of POV, the beach scene in LDITE, Ares gets his godhood back in YAT, the tango in TBS, the end of CH, etc. |

1.CH kiss 2.Ares' loss of wings ('Xena: you were not evil, you could love'-part) 3.The end of Just Listen 4.Moon lake talking from the end of The Rebel 5.First X/A and final X/A scenes in Behind Your Eyes (ok, we may consider them as one moment  )
and incomparable, the best, forever and ever,  Xena's "I love you" in Love's Creation
So a god creates a child--one whose sole purpose is to wipe out the other gods and bring about a new order.
And he chooses a mother who'll do whatever it takes to protect her child. Except there's a flaw in his plan...

Hmm.. this is a difficult decision to make. ok.
1) the scorpion scene in POV 2) Xena saying "thank you" to Ares, after he has sacrificed his godhood in Motherhood. 3) The apple scene in YAT (....think of the possibilities...) 4) The foreplay in AUS 5) Xena's dream in EB.

1. Ares' MH sacrifice, and the looks they exchange.
2. Ares carrying Xena to the ice cave in LDITE. 3. The Reckoning talk in Ares' mansion (or in Xena's head, I guess). 4. The red glow. 5. The fistfight near the end in CH. All of their other interactions I watch with mild frustration.
