And if we did lets do a repeat cause I can't remember. What do you think the different characters smelt like? What smell, or smells do you associate with the different characters? I'll kick off with Alti - blood and dirt. Caesar - red wine and lavender.

Not that I mind, 'cause that's one of my favorite smells, but had never thought of associating it with Ares. Would add leather to his scent though. Also a bit of ozone such as when it's beginning to get stormy but not yet raining, just because of the power association and his popping in and out of places.

I was thinking leather but I love the "before a rain" type smell. Oh yes. That would work for him. I was thinking something on a really primal level, like a pheromone or something (not that I'd have any idea what something like that would smell like but, you know, something that just naturally "attracts" you.)

Thanks! Cyrene - pumpkin pie kind of smell, well, while it's cooking anyway. From running an inn I sort of think she'd be a good cook, and that's kind of a comforting smell as well. Which while things haven't always been good between them, once things are mended I think she meant comfort to Xena.
