It's just such a shame that we most likely will never get to see them as a couple in anything every again. However if that would happen, what would you like to see them in? Imagine you get to pick one Uber story that was made into a film staring Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor. What story would you pick? Or if you're not very knowledgeable of the world of Ubers is there another story/film you would like to see them in? And a Xena movie doesn't count.

It's near the end of the movie, neo (who would be xena) has to choose between saving the world or trinity (= gab) and he chooses to save trinity so he flies back to her as fast as he can, sees trinity has been shot and then you see that whole emotional scene where he reaches inside her, cups his hand around her heart, squeezing it and revives her! ...No Xena No Xenaverse... ---------------------------------------- "So life's a bitch. Novan's Madam President. I love the story and it's a powerful one. Plus at this moment in time they are the right ages to be able to portray those characters. Man oh man how I wish they would, but unfortunately....

Guess I'll be reading that next... The books that I'd like to see as movies and that could actually appeal to a broad audience (plot and suspense as well as a complex Xena/Gabrielle type love story) are Above All Honor by Radclyffe, Branded Ann by Merry Shannon and Meridio's Daughter by L. J. Maas. In my film producer fantasies, LL and ROC would star in at least two of these.

I also agree that just about anything by Radclyffe would work as a movie and would probably have broad appeal. I always thought the series by Jane Fletcher would be good for an X/G uber movie. I've only read a couple in the Lyremouth Chronicles, but I could see Xena being the protagonist/exile and Gabrielle as the sorceress. Fantasy has broad audience appeal too. WITHOUT GABRIELLE, THERE WOULD BE NO XENA!!! Proud member of the PLA! Long live Queen Gabrielle! Seeing how The L Word is on it's final season Showtime and the world needs a new lesbian oriented show. Imagine how lovely it would be if they made this into a series. What story would you pick? Dar&Kerry series by Melissa Good. I'm still reading (in the middle of the series by now), but I'm a fan. The thought of movie occured to me too btw. To see Lucy portraying that great and complex image of business woman - That would be absolutely fantastic. She would be fantastic. Not that now she isn't. Pity we never see that. sighs
