How big are the originals? How do you create them?

This is the full, original size. I modified a body which was considerably smaller and more "cute" to make it longer more Luce like. I also modified the eyes to make them more Luce-ish. I drew everything else on her, hair, clothes, pixel by pixel. I did use two images of Meg's cake for the cake. I simply shrank it down, sharpened it & cleaned it up. I had to combine an open image with a closed one to get what you see. Oh, and I added a shrunk down & sharpened version of her flask too!

Now, I do not know how other approach these things, but I kinda do it like I would a huge piece, just really small. I add a whole lot of soft shading. I know that most these little dolls are done with hard highlights and hard edges. You may notice, I don't do that. There are some hard body edges, but the edges of the clothes and hair are rather soft.

Thank you so much! I have seen some of these that just blow me away, wish I had their skill, but, I think these have my touch on them. I figure, as long as they have my style, then I am happy with them. Gabrielle? Well, she has a completely different body. We will see.
