Are they mutually exclusive scenarios both of which you like? Or can you see the two coexisting? What kind of scenarios do you prefer, either on the show or in fanfic? Bitexters: how do you see X/A and X/G? (Result) I believe that Xena and Gabrielle are a couple, but also enjoy the sexual tension/attraction between Xena and Ares as long as Xena isn't unfaithful to Gabrielle I believe that Xena and Gabrielle are a couple, but wouldn't mind seeing them in an open relationship so that Xena can spend an occasional night with Ares I like the idea of a Xena/Gabrielle/Ares "menage a trois" (in which Xena has a full relationship with both) I think there's unconsummated desire between both X/A and X/G, and I like it that way I think there's unconsummated desire between both X/A and X/G, and while I enjoy both I'd rather see Xena end up with Gabrielle I think there's unconsummated desire between both X/A and X/G, and while I enjoy both I'd rather see Xena end up with Ares I think there's unconsummated desire between both X/A and X/G, and it would be equally fine with me if Xena ended up with either Ares or Gabrielle I see the two "texts" as parallel realities, in one of which Xena and Gabrielle are lovers, and in the other they are platonic soulmates and Xena is in love with Ares I don't really give a lot of thought to specific scenarios! XD But yeah, this is a sweeet poll. I love the tension that X/A have, but X/G were meant to be! To me it's just the normal "old-flame-still-burns" scenario between Ares and Xena, which is the only reason the whole thing kept up the way it did. If Ares had not continued to pursue her, there would obviously be no backstory for the backstory (which would be kinda sad), but that's the reality of it--or at least that's how I think it is... At first i thought X/A was only lust, but later in season 5 and in season 6 i came to see that maybe Ares really loved Xena But i have to admit that Xena/Ares are really hot together, thats why i love the episode 'Ampoholis under siege' so much Xena an Gabrielle are soul mates, and Gabrielle is the one i would have preferred with who Xena would have ended with. And i would have been willingly to cheer Ares up, if that would have happened

Really I see Gab and Xena as an ideal - a perfext xoulmates couple, Xena and Ares feels abit more human (stupid thing to sa considereing he's a god). I really like the concept of Gabs innocence and Ares emm...badness :shrug , coming full circle. That idea really intreges me. The fact that Xena pulls the two opposits into the middle. I also like that within the different relationships Xena plays different roles. With Gab she is the protected and Gab is her light, with Ares, she attracts him to the good fight. And, I hate to quote such a terrible episode but; in Soul Posession Gabby say: "Xena, no matter how hard Ares has tried, he has never been able to break us up." And I think Gabby was always a bit worried Ares would tempt Xena back to her old ways, and to being with him. Theres a lot of question over if Xena and Ares ever..how can I put it...got it on?! haha I think they did personally. Back when Xena was evil. A lot of people refer to 'the reckoning' and say that was the first time Xena met Ares. But lets not forget that in the first season Argo was a boy too!! And in later seasons Ares often talks about when he 'took the young Xena under his wing'. So I believe they had met. And 'got it on'. I love Xena and Ares only if Gabrielle doesn't exist or isn't around completely. Otherwise, I'm all Xena/Gabrielle. To me, soulmates override anything else. However, I may be hypocritical to that when it comes to Ares/Gabrielle(season5). :P "Whatever happens, know that my love for you is endless."

Now, under the right circumstances, can totally dig G/X/A (xena's gotta be in the middle for that one) going for the menage a trois. LK takes the blame for that one. Then you had the G/A pairing, which has become suddenly fascinating, to make things even murkier. That one is all Jolly's fault. flails If my brain explodes, the cause can be traced back to the XOC.
