All of those eps have large numbers of non-speaking but glamorous female characters - Amazons and Archers - so it's safe to assume she was one of those. If she is in the credits by name, then she probably did have a line or two, like "There she is - get her!"

Or the famous exchange among various uncredited Amazons in "Kindred Spirits" :

"I'll get him!"  

"He's got something in his hand!" 

"It's too small to be a weapon!" 

Well, as August said it's probably because she has a few lines and is a professional actor, not an extra?

That line is often very fine though. Like Ria (Rhea?) actress Joy Van Uden in "Kindred Spirits," who apart from playing another unnamed Amazon in a Herc ep is not know to have done any other acting before or since. She was an occasional model, who at last word was a cheerleader for the NZ Vodaphone Warriors. Or Patrick Kake, who was a rugby player turned male model, and got the gig as a body double for Kevin Sorbo (and sometimes Kevin Smith) mainly because of a physical resemblance. But then mved into a "real" acting career first on "Cleo" and now in movies. Since Renee Kelly doesn't seem to have any other credits other than XWP - neither she or any agent have ever created a listing for her at the IMDB for example - and she doesn't seem to be listed w/ any of the usual NZ talent agencies, one can speculate that she was an extra who was given a few lines and at that moment became a professional actress.

Of course, we have to remember August's favorite cameo guy: Campbell Cooley!

Absolutely! Although Cam actually had a couple of decent supporting roles too - his drooled-on Scythian was in a number of scenes and had a fair number of lines, plus he had some good screen time w/ Joel Tobeck in "Love Amazon Style" on HTLJ.

But I think Erica Hooper might have to get my vote for favorite (and probably Campbell's too) since she's hotter. She ended up in a number of eps of all the Ren Pics shows as an extra because of her background as a dancer *cough* ok exotic dancer and eventually got some lines tossed her way (she was the floozy who told Napoleon that he was "a bone apart" in a memorable "Jack" ep, and the mutant bar stripper that Jennifer Sky upstages on "Cleo.") As she describes it, if you were available in Auckland and were known to the casting people, you could always get a shot at reading for small roles. She was an extra (as a "dancer") in a couple of the "Lawless" tv movies, and had the chance to audition for the part of "a jelly wrestler." Sadly, she lost out to an actual jelly wrestler.
