Better than I remember it being, although I feel the Perdicas/Gabrielle storyline could have been spread out by at least one more episode. Absolutely one of the best Xena episodes ever. Had everything. Including what appears to be a flash of Xena's, umm, "region" as she lifts her dress and climbs onto the bed with Caesar. The things you can do these days with frame-by-frame and zoom on your DVD player! (Okay, hurry and put on that ep and fast forward to that scene, and see if you see what I think I see). That scene was pretty hot, but the ep altold was just terrific, fast-paced, the flashbacks, Karl Urban's characterization of Caesar, the M'Lila character and how Xena learned the "pinch" (should be called the "poke") and her emergence as the ultimate "evil" Xena. A very enjoyable 44 minutes. Okay, now back to watching Kathy Griffin on New Year's Eve...

You get to see Ephiny again, its the last stand of the centaurs, Marton Csokas! And some more Evil Xena flashbacks. So: The Furies - 9/10 - YEAH for the possibility of Ares as Xena's father... Sorry for all you shippers, but I'm a big supporter of the theory! Been There, Done That - 9/10 Hilarious as ever. One of the show's finest moments in my humble opinion. The Dirty Half Dozen - 7/10 Would've scored higher if not for that woman's constant ramblings of men-are-evil. Interview was very good though. I had no idea this episode was a "pilot" for new replacement characters to give Lucy days off. The Deliverer - 10/10 The Dahak arc kicks into high gear. The ending was painful. I was disappointed that the interview pretty much dodged the rape issue this episode brought but oh well... Now I'm watching Stranger in a Strange World (as part of the marathon I'm watching the crossovers and bonus features too). So far so good.
