So if i missed a thread about this i am sorry...but are we having a meet up at the con? i know TX is...(not to sound like compitition) but if there isnt...i
will in the bar on thursday...look for the blonde in the black and white striped jacket straight in the back with the fuzzy navel....i may even make a real PLA
badge...hehe

I would to arrange a meet up so I can coerce someone (nicely) into handing out pens and business cards at the convention.
I'm hoping that LJ (nudge, wink) will offer... just stuff the pens in their shirt or pocket or the hand... |

Jazzy WP, there's a thread for a huge XOC rally to the 2010 convention. LK, I'm so sorry you're not going to be there!
I should be at the con on Friday afternoon, and I'll also have a XOC T-shirt. And yeah, I know we try not to compete with the TX meetup--just keep me posted on where and when we have the XOC meetup. I'm kinda hoping we do what you all did at Chicago, though, and just find each other right away and hang out the whole time. Meeting you all in person is one of my biggest reasons for having my heart set on going this year, as well as 2010. That's cool you guys are going. I am definitely planning for 2010. For '08, I need to ask for time off from work (I'll be gone for about 10 days--missing only like 6 work days, I think--from the end of December to early January because I'm going to Europe so I'll see if asking for 2/3 days off at the end of January will work). I don't want to feel too guilty for getting off of work so much when I have been working at this job for only a couple months. You know, it's just odd, though, because they haven't seemed to be annoucning any autographs or photo ops yet. I thought that happened well in advance. The cast list looks pretty cool but, I don't know, something really isn't grabbing me yet. If I do go, I have decided I am going to Lucy's concert, too. I'm going I'm going! Well, like I said I have tickets to the Roxy, just not the convention yet. I see general admission tickets just went on sale. I also need plane tickets or need to decide if I am driving. Anyone else from Seattle area going in January??? ~Xenasgrrl~
