The last two movies I hired are still haunting me. A very good storyline of a couple of broken heroes.
Jet Li plays in Fearless of the life and tragedies that befalls this turn of the century Martial Arts champion of China.
A very moving story that appears to focus more on the action so don't be surprised if there are more questions than answers as the story progresses.
Well worth watching.
Yet another B-Movie with Jean-Claude Van Damme in Hard Core. The story of blaxplotation of the good vs the bad. An ex-marine (with shell-shock) is hired to become a bodyguard for a wealthy selfmade millionaire boxer, because a gangster 'brother' has been let out of prison early and seeks revenge.
Its fast-paced action movie and shows JC at his best performance ever.
When watching Chinese-made Epic stories, know what you get yourselves into as these stories bring the characters full circle. It was a tragic ending, but in a sense it was also very beautiful.
