They had a short blurb about SW EpIII, and when its release date. *Quote:* The year's No. 1 movie so far, Star Wars, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, is expected to arrive in stores Nov. 8. Royal Posts: 8149 (07/12/05 1:40 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I hope there will be a set that includes EVERYthing - all 6 fims, both the original incarnations or at least the updated versions of Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi that Lucas re-released in the theatres (with the added footage of Jabba the Hut, etc...) as well as all the bonus features ever included. I want it all, and I want it in one set - since I don't have any item of Star Wars stuff yet. "You were right Gabrielle, I do have a soft spot for bad boys."

I'm thinking more along the lines of a 7 disc set rather than a 6 disc set. 6 being the movies themselves and the 7th containing all the extras: The making of, behind the scenes, trailers, etc., etc.. 911 Families For America

Commander Posts: 717 (07/13/05 4:29 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Word has reached the U.K that Episode III dvd will be a extended cut,with Yoda arriving on Dagobah and more of Padme and the senate...with scenes inc Mon Mothma...and more Wookie action. I hope they include the deaths of the Jedi such as Shaak Ti..who acording to the script is killed by Anakin in the Jedi temple. Many charactors that have action figures do not appear in the final cut,so maybe George will restore them. The six film box set is rumoured to have a extra disc with among other things...Deleted scenes from the original trilogy..such as Luke with his friends Cammie and Fixer. Can`t wait !!

I already have Episodes I and II on DVD (and I'll be getting Episode III as well) so I don't really need a set of all six films...but if he includes the non-special edition trilogy then I may reconsider .

George should give us the original cuts of the first trilogy as well as the new versions and let the viewer decide which version to watch. George says the versions that are out there now are the only versions of STAR WARS now and that we will never see the originals again...well thanks very much. He says the versions out there now are closer to his original vision.....so what...give the fans the films that they fell in love with in the 70s-80s......with NO CGI,NO BOTCHED MUSIC cues and NO awful scene with Han treading over Jabbas tail. I also felt short changed regarding the extra disc on the original trilogy box set......one disc !! Quite a few years back now, a definitive collectors tin came out..which i am so glad i managed to pre order. Apart from the VHS original versions of the films in THX ,the set contained All the making of documentarys...a masive amount of trailers....and loads of other stuff...a real collector treat. ....So now the dvds are out...what do we get.....not much really......i am happy with whats on the extra disc..but with so much material out there that is available...why is it held back? The same thing with the INDIANA JONES box set. Who knows what George has planed for the six film box set.......what i do know is that we better keep all those VHS versions safe and sound.

It upsets me because i know more than likely they will release the big box set. Im sure it will be something like that huge 120 dollar matrix box set that is out. Ill end up having to buy this one myself i believe since i asked for the trilogy box set last christmas.
