Hercules started out as special miniseries event. NBC has to get it right before they order a full season. Ronald D Moore's Battlestar Galactica also started as a miniseries. I think an 8 to 13 episode miniseries should be enough to give everyone an indication as to whether a full season is even possible.

I don't get the dogging on Xena's outfit. Yes, I'm not blind, I realize fan service was in mind but it really isn't that skimpy. And Xena is not someone who needs maximum coverage since this is a woman who catches arrows.
Also, for me, any "issues" with Xena's costume could be addressed by putting male warriors in similar costumes. It was always a little odd that the male villains weren't dressed more like Brad Pitt in Troy, with the exception of the higher level Romans like Caesar and Pompey.
If most warriors in the Xenaverse were running into battle in somewhat traditional Greek / Roman armour (i.e. breastplate of sorts, short-ish skirt and boots), then Xena's costume wouldn't look out of place. Xena would be dressed just like all of the other male (and female) warriors. All it would really require is a higher neckline - more like Andromeda's armour in Wrath of the Titans (https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/4b/39/7f/4b397f83bd633d5f8d69bf4122a951b7.jpg), albeit with the same iconic, decoratively elements.

Where did you get those Xena and Gabrielle Funko PoP figures from? I LOVE them! I presume that they're customs since I don't think Funko are making any Xena merchandise. If so, were they mass produced or are they one-off customs?
