My professor has repeatedly put us in positions where we have to defend our personal beliefs and choices in life. For instance I am gay and married to another female, in my class she made us 'discuss' which as you know turned into a bible slinging/debate...where some of the adults actually stooped so low to pull 'Adam and Steve' vs. 'Adam and Eve'. I felt so violated and angry and still do that she if we didn't discuss it we wouldn't get a grade which would reduce our original one. Why should anyone have to defend their beliefs or feel put on the spot to say why they're for or against something for a grade? So...that is how I am feeling right now. And I want to drop out but they'll take my money anyway, despite being put in uncomfortable situations.
