Honestly I thought I was being pretty unoriginal, I saw NZ nicknamed New Xenaland years ago and I thought it was cute. So since I live in NZ... it seemed to fit. I was quite surprised nobody had already taken it. (then again there aren't many Xena fans in/from NZ as far as I can tell)

I'v been lurking here for a little while now, so I finally took the plunge and joined. Hope I'v done this right ^^; 1. How long have you been a Xena fan? I have been obsessed with Xena since I was about 7, and I'm 20 this month, heheh. 2. Have you seen (a) every episode more than once, (b) every episode at least once, (c) most of the episodes, (d) fewer than half of the episodes? (a) every episode more than once. 3. Do you still watch X:WP (on TV, video or DVD)? If yes, do you watch (a) every day, (b) once or twice a week, (c) a few times a month, (d) a few times a year? I have the series on DVD and i watch it through a couple of times a year. I force myself to wait a few months inbetween watching it through because i can turn into a bit of a Xena zombie, not sleeping for two months in favour of watching episode after episode ^^; 4. How long have you been in the online fandom? Oh gosh, I'm not sure. What counts as being 'in' the online fandom? I'v lurked Xena forums and sites and video makers and such for a few years now, 3 perhaps? Not sure. These are the first Xena based forums I'v joined though. 5. How do you feel about the finale and the way the show ended? (a) loved it, (b) liked it, (c) had mixed feelings, (d) disliked it, (e) hated it? (c) had mixed feelings. I felt Xena's death was dragged out a bit too much, and although the whole journey was always about the greater good, i would have been nice for it to have been a little more personal and for her to have died for Gabrielle, rather than despite her. That said, Gabrielle's role in the whole finale was amazing and was a beautiful representation of how much she has grown since that first episode. Perhaps it would have been better if part of the plot, with Akimi's father, had turned up in a previous episode, so it didn't feel so sudden and.. odd. 6. Rank the seasons from most to least favorite. I couldn't possibly. They were all amazing, but all had such a different feel. 7. Your five favorite and five least favorite episodes? This one will be difficult.. these are in no specific order. Favourites: One Against An Army Who's Gurkahn? Amphipolis Under Siege The God You Know Crusader Least favourites.. I don't think I could make a list, but I was never overly keen on the uber episodes. 8. Your favorite characters (as many as you wish). Also in no order.
