I went to England for a few days, and got a little snap happy with my phone, so here are some pics!
Ok, to start with there shall be quite a few of Alnwick Castle. This is where they filmed the Harry Potter films, so I got a bit giddy. I was like 'ZOMG they played quidditch here lulz!!!111! I am in Hogwarts!!!11!!'. The castle was really quite beeyootiful. Obviously, being from Edinburgh, I am extra-qualified to comment on castles. Not quite as awesome as that of my home town, but still cool nonetheless:

(That dude in the bottom left corner is my dad - because we were at the top of this sort of lookout point I got a Xena wind and kept telling him to 'Reinforce the garrison'. He gave me some funny looks.
These were some old fighting armbands, that i got a bit excited about. We weren't actually allowed to take photos inside, but seeing as I love you all, XOC, I took these as they were Xena-esque. I have always flaunted photograph-taking rules, actually - I have been chucked out the Louvre before.
(Look you can see the wee statues at the top, which you might recognise from the films)
There was also some archery within the grounds:
Turns out I'm a natural! I got in a warrior haze again and was pretending I was like Xena in Maternal Instincts. I kept going 'Gnnnaaaaarrrrgh!!!' when I fired the arrows, and I think a frightened the woman running it. Oh well. I wasn't going to miss an opportunity, now was I?

This is actually Bamburgh Castle, which is on the coast of Northumberland. Lotsa castles, I tell you. We didn't go inside, but it looks great from the outside.
This is further along the coastline at the 'Seahouses', this was at the harbour.
The view from there of Bamburgh Castle.
And some little ducklings! You can't see them very well, but look closely. Trust me then, they were cute
So yes, not too many photos, just the interesting sights I saw in Northumberland. Enjoy!

My darling baby Evie...I love and adore you with all my heart and soul...forever and
always
