I understand that the video was some spoof of a down-under phenomena, but keep the kids out of it. Don't complain about being fearful for your kids' safety, then put your kids on Creation Coffee Talk Tapes and YouTube videos. That's what Lucy has done. Daisy's an adult now, so that's different. Especially on a board known for celebrating that celebrity. If Lucy Lawless wanted to plant her kids on the front float of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade for half of the free world to gaze at, that's her right and her perogative. Why the hell should she stuff her kids into a back room and never show them off for the wonderful human beings they are because of a few scattered nuts and stalkers? Is that any way to live? She's got protection, I'm sure, and I'm sure that if anyone tries to grab one of her kids, that nutball stalker will get his @ss handed to him.

Just because I like some of her work doesn't mean I'm gonna kiss her backside and worship her as if she were some god or saint that is absolutely perfect and can do no wrong. I still believe that allowing footage of her younger child on the internet is just flat out poor decision making on her part. Especially when she herself admitted to being frightened of some of the more zealous of her fanbase.

(Plenty of people have criticized some of their work, for instance.) However, to accuse someone of bad parenting is a personal attack. It would be unacceptable toward another member of this board and it's unacceptable toward the stars of the show. Would it be okay to say, "I'm worried that Lucy and Renee may be exposing their children to danger by making their images public"? Yes, of course. What is not okay is to pass judgment on their behavior in a superior and condescending tone. Which, again, would be equally inappropriate toward a member of this board. No one appointed any of us to be the judge of other people's personal behavior. This thread is locked. And you'd better believe there will be further action by the mods.
