XENAWP Gosh I don't believe this. I attempted a reply to you the same day I did LK and Aurora; right after in fact. It was long....and I hit my very own special button I used to hit that just makes them go away....? to where, I know not... I used to have that problem and Nittony Lioness suggested, as I recall others did it also as I wasn't the only one that had problems w/the system, maybe not the same problem but - she suggested I do them in email or word proc. then transfer them Good idea, so I got in the habit and it worked better. Though as I recall, we had several diff issues in those days with the system. ANYWAY, being away for so long, this past yr or so, I had forgotten MY little ordeal. But it had happened to her too or she wouldnt have done HER posts that way. We seemed to have other issues with EZBOARDS at the time. This is the 5th writing of this post.
1 just disappeared mid writing a sentence, I hit return I think and it was just GONE. 2 of them I fell asleep and when I woke the words were gone (NO kidding, I know how weird that sounds- timed out I guess You'd think computers would have a way to "save" what you type where ever you type it, if you ever really look at your cache they can save every danged thing else off another web page..and the weirdest, #4, I had finished it, PREVIEWED IT, and then hit post, it appeared to post as it normally does. Today when I came back to read newer posts, IT WASNT THERE. That is just like a couple months ago, LK was doing the collection to donate to Lucy's fav charity in honor of LL's birthday...I jumped in and asked a couple questions, and wrote a med sized post. When I came back the next day to read her answers, MY post wasn't there. SAME THING that just happened to your #4. I can't IMAGINE what causes THAT. I am NOT losing it that bad; I can remember the questions I asked LK about the donations to the charity: 1. Is there a time limit? if so what; I even wrote to her and asked if she moved my post, if I had put it in the wrong thread! Now it happened again. SOME of this could be my computer but that doesn't make common sense...but then Im no puter whiz either to know how my little old computer could overpower and run YuKu's system. I wrote that one off to dreaming it; this one? I didnt dream so now I figure I didn't that one either. Regardless, BET I NEVER BUY ANOTHER GATEWAY COMPUTER.

NONE of this happens anywhere else Ive posted..well, ONE does, usually when I hit that button(enter, I thinks what it is - When my nails are long) anywhere else, it just posts the post prematurely and I go in under edit and finish it. But I don't get when they just disappear, here. (WHILE TYPING)

Anyway, Im so sorry its taken this long to finally reply to you, I feel SO bad. I don't like the idea that these days have past and you thought I just ignored you. NOT that I think I matter that much to you, just the courtesy of it all and anyone, I think, that posts with 2 other ppl to someone, and that someone replies to the other 2 but not the one, would have to wonder why or feel sorta funny. I just want you to know I worked hard rewriting the post several times I cant believe it myself how many times something happened. Esp after the disappearance, then unlike any other time, I FALL ASLEEP and when I wake up, the post page is sitting there, staring me in the face, BLANK. augh.Unless its like today when that sneaky pop up came in (though you'd think I'd be aware of those - I'd complain to my security ppl it wasn't working good enough. BUT IT COULD be something like that. hmmmm

Basically I agreed we. you and I, had a lot in common on this issue...no $$, the wish to go really bad, and both "win the lotto" wishers, bigtime.''Basically I told you a story about how in 3rd grade, a group of my friends and I & were out on the playground, on a pretty, sunny April day, wishing - about how it would be great if we could get a day or two off from school...a snow day, anything but we were like, snow day, rrright, IN APRIL!!?- so I says, "You know how Indians do a rain dance?" "Yeahhhh...." they all said in that familiar grade school-unison. "Well, how bout I do a SNOW dance?" "YEEaaahhhhhH" they all said...in unison. As if they took it very seriously.. SO I proceeded to do "a snow dance" right there in the 'sunshine of my life', on Burkhardt Grade school's playground. (Little play on lyrics there from the song Sunshine of Your Love, if you're familiar-great song by Cream, written by Eric Clapton and two other guys)

Well, you'll never believe it, but I swear its true - the very next day we had SNOW and a SNOW DAY - for the next 2 or 3 days, in fact. I take no credit, but in hindsight, I do believe it DID start my life long extreme fascination with coincidence. It got a real kick up a notch just a few years later...(I see all this in hindsight of course)

In HIGH SCHOOL, sitting at a large long lunch table, with my group of friends, we were having a very similar conversation, wishing for time off.(stick with me this does connect up to having something to do with us and our story/con) Now, I do NOT remember what month it was in high school, and since that was later in life, so you would think easier to remember if an odd month, it must have been winter, but I cant be sure. But that happening in 3rd grade in APRIL freaked US out so was very easy to remember.)

Anyway, I jokingly told them the story about the coincidence deal in grade school. They all said, "DO IT AGAIN!" in unison. .... I said, Ok, but not here... "Why not?"...in unison. (lol) (just giving me a hard time) Could you see me doing a "snow dance" in the CAFETERIA at a large high schooL? Our class alone was over 700 pupils! Course they were kidding and would have died themselves had I gotten up and did it.

When I got home, true to my word, I did ye old snow dance.

Believe it or not,...YES, it snowed! And for the next few days, we had SNOW DAYS. It actually happened AGAIN!! The day I did the snow dance, the snow started to fall that night and by morning was enough to keep us home - both times. My 2nd big rachet up in interest re coincidence.

SO I thought (that night when I wrote the one I thought had really posted after all the failures) WHY NOT? Just for laughs, Im going to tell her about the snow dance incidents and I'll do a 'win the lotto' dance! Just for, as Austin Powers says, ahem, "Just for "Schwartz n giggles, Baby, yeah."

Believe me, just as the other two times, I don't expect it to reeeally do anything I DO believe in "TRYING" just about anything silly when it comes to winning the lotto. LOL So I also put these 'icons' up to represent that the dance has been done & to keep the pertinent "flags" of hope flyin'.

One for you; and one for me -

We have some time; the dance "formula" is such that - we win, different nights, and that we are the ONLY winner that Saturday (Or Wednesday - whatever day we play, between now and thru ?. Trouble is, I'd think we should be able to buy our tickets (All of them) early, but maybe that's not a problem? Anyway who cares...if we win the Lotto, going to the con will just be a bonus to a lot of other fun, eh? HOPE to get good seats but if we don't? Maybe we could throw down some sleepin' bags on the floor off to the right or left of the stage! heheheheh Mine would have to have a foamopedic
cushion under it. HAAAA> whatever that's really called. The mattress made of the foam Nasa invented? Somethingopedic

WISH I had a way to write a disclaimer all ran together (to represent how fast the guy always talks) stating there are no guarantees this will work and is for entertainment purposes only on and on but this is long enough & I wasnt prepared for that; the idea just struck me funny, and that it would be humorous to a degree for you too, if I could pretty much remember everything he says. AH well.

All kidding aside, thanks for writing, and your kind words.

*Sigh*...gotta remember even more important, I need to ALSO keep working on getting that remission - any help anyone wants to offer for that would be greatly appreciated. All donations may be sent to...JUUUST KIDDING. I honestly mean of the prayer or sending good wishes or energy to me to help strengthen me up to on par of a remission.
If you pray, wonderful I can use all of that help I can get; if you don't pray, that's ok too, just send me your good wishes and energy (silently, meaning not AT ALL ASKING or expecting that you have to write anything on here or any such thing like that) Im sure I'll feel it if it works.

Again if you don't pray, since we all LOVE and LIVE in this ancient Greek world,...even asking the Olympians..."help garnet get a remission that lasts a long time, at least as long as this pain has lasted" (17 yrs solid, Ive had the illness all my life, it would just come and go as I was growing up or remiss. This time it hit, it just hasn't ever all remissed at the same time. So I don't think its wishing for too much to get a remission that long; but honestly, I'll take anything I can get - within reason. I mean I don't think one of an hour or two would do much good. (and that is possible, did you know that?

Anyway, using the Olympians and our friends from ancient Greek to represent your wishes would be fine with me, its still REALLY sending me well meant, good energy from you...( after all, I AM a Fury and do work under Ares..Im sure he'd like to help me out, right? Since we get along so great, and he IS my take-my-breath-away boss?

Again, all kidding aside, I truly DO idealy WANTj a FULL remission of it all for at least as many years as I've been hounded by it and I need some help. Ask our beloved Greeks and Olympian Gods: a beautiful lady with many skills; Gabby with her little stick...Joxer the Mighty, (he's very tidy).... (Ares, (Sexygod, Sexygod)Cupid now AKA Dr Leonard McCoy, Zeus - yeah he's got a lot of power) Auto, HERCULES, Iolaus; Aphrodite, she was soft hearted and probably would be willing to help. To whomever you pray, if you do, or ask help send me the energy I need to have a remission, I appreciate the help; If you don't (pray), the Olympians will work. Afterall, it will really be you sending me the well wish and energy ;o) Even if I cant get the $ together, Im craving that remission.

Also, if I dont get it, it would be a hard trip - and I couldnt walk down the street to eat at BurgerKing (can't walk any distance, DO anything for any real length of time - I start hurting bad and DO so for a long time after. SO I'd be pretty restricted unless I was having an unusual good day. I'd take that!! Well..weekend....til I got home. Its really stupid to even consider it w/o remission,........................ that's how bad I'd like to go. But - got-to-be -realistic.

like some say, its not the end of the world and I know that. I just remember reading all the fun stories from last time and how much fun I think I would also have had. And I still can seeing all "goers" pics and hearing their stories!
