I mean, FIN seems to be the obvious one to me until I think about all the tension in that Dance. FIN is quite a bit more obvious, especially with that little nose rub at the end of the kiss, I mean, who does that with a friend for heaven's sake? The dance though....it's subtext for sure. I tend to look for a cold bucket to dunk my head in after that episode, let alone the Dance itself. Hoof prints in my Soul. Thanks to Taladarkie JJ for the Keepership!

It isn't my fav subtext moment but over time i think it is the image i have seen most of in relation to subtext, both as a still and used in music videos. I think its an 'iconic' subtext moment.

I was just thinking, in that scene, it would've been great that instead of Auto and Gabrielle pulling away in shock, that Gabrielle could've pulled away, eyes still closed, whispered Xena's name and THEN opened her eyes.... anyways... babbling.... def THE Quest, for me.... even though the AFIN "kiss" was ..... ahem .... what i'd been waiting for.....
