To athenassword though I see your point take away television license and what not in that time and place it was truly kill or be killed. Did Xena go to far? Maybe. Was it right? In her mind yes, her thoughts were of protecting her home and she truly believed to do that was to rule Greece and the known world. Egotistical? Very lol. In history there are places for characters like Xena, we are talking about a world that has evolved from no law to one that is made up of laws. In that time in history the "law" truly was no better than Xena, it was about power and the only reason they would search her out for capture would have been because she was a threat to thier power. In today's society my opionion is it's a tough call, should we lock them up and throw away the key or do they deserve a second chance I think it depends.
On to the India arc, seeing that I believe in reincarnation, it works for me on some levels. As a whole yes the episodes are lacking and I don't believe our paths are set in stone, they are what we make of it. I believe that you can follow "the way of love" but that you can also be the warrior, in a way they are connected as someone said you cannot have peace without conflict and it's true they balance each other.
The show has given me much wisdom I guess you could say. It has taught me to try to be a better person and to not give up because it's not how many times you fall that counts it's what you do once you succeed that does. That barriers can be overcome and it is always harder to forgive yourself than to forgive others. And the most important I am who I am and if people can't or won't accept that than it's thier problem cause if you change to make someone else happy you will never be happy, you have to change for yourself no one else.
