I don't like villains ... though, of course, there's no good without evil! I agree with all that's been said about Callisto ... I, personally, have always been frightened of Alti, probably because of her powers being so great and supernatural. My vote for the most annoying and hated villain goes to Najara, though. I've found her fearsome in a way different form Alti - that horrible mask of goodness and the way she actually believes it... To me, it is a perfect manifestation of how depraved a mind a person can be of and how much damage they can actually cause by recruiting followers of an ideology that turns out to be something completely different from what it seems to be at first. Some of the greatest disasters in the history of mankind were caused by people like her (see WWII). "What doesn't kill me is making me strong..." Callisto was probably the better villain of the two in the sense that she was a more complex character. But the History lover in me loved what they did by including Caesar and making him in many ways responsible for EvilXena. No matter they were both brilliant and the Callisto/Caesar tag-team in Ides of March was perfection.

(LK, how could you forget Caesar???) I do have to disagree with Jolly, though, about their team-up in Ides of March--I found it unsatisfying. Partly because I felt Callisto was past her prime by that time, and partly because I felt they could have done much more with the interaction between the two of them than they did. But in this they managed to work together while alone and they did sorta complete each other. But I'm biased I'm a IOM lover, so it's always going to be wonderful in my eyes
