For some reason the best, most interesting and personal conversation always takes place in the very early hours of the new day.
Oh, me too!
My routine varies a little with the day of the week.
Monday I either tutor on the way home from work, or else stop in at my apartment to change my clothes and head off to the skating rink. (It's Christian Skate Night at Skateland Mesa, which means free admission, and mostly music I know. I sometimes do the Sunday School actions like a big dork!) Then I come home, shower, and get online until I get so sleepy I have to go to bed.
Tuesday-Thursday I come home, sometimes go shopping, check my regular mail, and then get on the computer. I try to get on my Gazelle for an hour at some point before 9 PM (so as not to annoy my neighbors with the noise). Ideally, I'd exercise before turning on the computer, but well, the allure of email, XOC, and livejournal is too strong. I have a regular computer routine, too: hotmail --> yahoo email --> open livejournal and XOC each in different windows and read and post on both. I'll sometimes turn IM on at some point in the evening, and then, yeah, just like JollyApe said, if I get into a good conversation I can go late into the night.
Fridays (and this varies with the week, but usually) I pick up Cathy's kids from their daycare. I strap them in their carseats, and we talk on the way back to Cathy's house. Then I get them in the house, start my laundry for the week, and fix us all dinner. We either paint or watch TV after dinner (I do like painting, and the kids like it because it's messy, but if they're in front of cartoons, that means I get to post on XOC from Cathy's house), and then they have baths, get their bedtime story, and go to bed. I clean around the house a little, and then if there's time before Cathy gets home, get back on her computer (or fall asleep on the couch, lol). When she does get home, that's our one on one time for the week, so sometimes I don't get home 'till late. Still, though, Friday is my earliest to bed night all week (oh, dear...
