1. How long have you been a Xena fan?
(since it started. love the show)
2. Have you seen (a) every episode more than once, (b) every episode at least once, (c) most of the episodes, (d) fewer than half of the episodes? ( i've watched all the seasons more then once) 3. Do you still watch X:WP (on TV, video or DVD)? If yes, do you watch (a) every day, (b) once or twice a week, (c) a few times a month, (d) a few times a year? (ya from time to time ) 4. How long have you been in the online fandom? ( not long ) 5. How do you feel about the series' ending? (a) loved it, (b) liked it, (c) had mixed feelings, (d) disliked it, (e) hated it? (had mixed feelings about it ) 6. Rank the seasons from most to least favorite. ( dats a hard choice there all good i have no lest fav ) 7. Your five favorite and five least favorite episodes? bitter suite, many happy returns, one againt the army, home coming, lyer lyer ,old ares had a farm. cant thk of any lest fav 8. (b) have seen every episode at least once, however have watched some again and again and again............................................ 3. Do you still watch X:WP (on TV, video or DVD)? (c) Watch dvd or on tv a few times a month, usually go through a period where I'll watch it constantly then wont watch it for a few weeks. 4. How long have you been in the online fandom? This is day 3! 5. How do you feel about the finale and the way the show ended? (a) loved it, (b) liked it, (c) had mixed feelings, (d) disliked it, (e) hated it? (d) It took me ages to actually watch it, cause I heard Xena died and just felt that was a really terrible way to finish. Expected to hate it, when I did get around to watching it, but have to grudgingly admit it wasnt horrendous! just terrible! 6. Rank the seasons from most to least favorite. I really like well developed plots and characters. I have recently tried writing some of my own, and you never know I may post it sometime. 11. Are you a fan of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys as well as Xena? No, just never captured my imagination! 12. What are your other favorite shows, if any? Bones, Ellen DeGeneres (anything she does), Boston Legal, CSI: Las Vegas, Battlestar Galactica, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Bad Girls, Profiler, Pretender, Star trek: Voyager and TNG 13. 1. How long have you been a Xena fan?
Since June 18, 2007 - my best friend gave me the series on DVD at Yule (Christmas), and she's made it a point to razz me because when the show was originally airing, I had no interest in it and apparently razzed her because she was watching it!! I have no recollection of this and have come to the conclusion that my evil twin is the culprit (I've since sent her to Tartarus for this heinous crime). 2. Have you seen (a) every episode more than once, (b) every episode at least once, (c) most of the episodes, (d) fewer than half of the episodes? Every episode enough times that I know several of the lines before they're spoken and can recognize which episodes stills come from (is there an XWP Anonymous? I am addicted and obssessed... an admitted junkie... but keep the 10-step programs for those misguided souls who want to kick the habit)! 3. Do you still watch X:WP (on TV, video or DVD)? If yes, do you watch (a) every day, (b) once or twice a week, (c) a few times a month, (d) a few times a year? Without fail, I watch one episode every morning before work (very nicely complimented by Kashi and coffee), and on my days off I watch at least one but more often than not I watch several. I use a Xena desktop and screensaver both at work and at home, and I have several songs from the soundtracks on my mp3 player. 4. How long have you been in the online fandom? For XOC, I'm a newbie - but other sites combined, probably since September 2007. 5. How do you feel about the finale and the way the show ended? (a) loved it, (b) liked it, (c) had mixed feelings, (d) disliked it, (e) hated it? I had mixed feelings. Yes, I bawled like a baby, and thank Goddess I had the sense to watch it on DVD over the weekend just before Oxygen was scheduled to air it or I would have been a train wreck at work!! All emotional attachment aside, I loved it - it was beautifully written and executed on all levels... the music, the cinematography, the costumes, the special effects, and especially the acting. Lucy and Renee were, as always, amazing. On the other hand, it was a very harsh episode for fans. We all had that logic that Xena, in her quest for retribution, would die... but when the main focus of a series is the relationship between the two main characters, why then wouldn't the serie finale focus on the two of them together? Instead, we get maybe a half hour of the two-hour episode with Xena and Gabrielle spending their last moments together with the remaining 90 minutes focusing on each of them engaged in individual tasks. That to me was the hardest to accept... outside of the fact that like everyone else, I didn't want it to end, of course! 6. Rank the seasons from most to least favorite. This is tough... but: Six, One, Five, Two, Four, and Three. 7. Your five favorite and five least favorite episodes? This is tougher!! Favorites in order of preference (at this moment): When Fates Collide, The Ides Of March, Them Bones, Them Bones, Is There A Doctor In The House, The Greater Good. Though there isn't a single episode that I didn't love, my least favorites from absolute bottom to higher on the food chain: Married... With Fishsticks, Key To The Kingdom, Send In The Clones, You Are There, Deja Vu All Over Again. 8. Your favorite characters (as many as you wish). Gabrielle, Xena, Alti, Callisto, Aphrodite, Argo, M'Lila, and Lao Ma 9. Which romantic pairings do you like? (pick as many as you like) (a) Xena/Gabrielle, (b) Xena/Ares, (c) Gab/Joxer, (d) Gab/Virgil, (e) other, (f) none. That's easy... Xena/Gabrielle
10. Do you read and/or write fanfiction? Any particular type? Do you follow any of the virtual seasons? I read and eventually want to write subtext fanfiction, and I haven't spent nearly as much time as I'd like with the virtual seasons! 11. Are you a fan of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys as well as Xena? Honestly, I've only watched The Xena Trilogy and Armageddon Now, Part 2, but the series seems likeable enough. 12. What are your other favorite shows, if any? Criminal Minds, CSI - all, House, Charmed, Pushing Daisies, Moonlight, The L Word, Six feet Under, Two And A Half Men, and Queer As Folk. I'm getting into Battlestar Gallactica and Army Wives as well, but it's slow... lol! 13. Are you male or female? Female 14. What's your age group? (a) under 16, (b) 16-21, (c) 21-30, (d) 30-40, (e) 40-45, (f) 45-55, (g) over 55, (h) none of your beeswax. 46 going on 21 but my soul is much older - how's that for an answer?? 15.
