Oh? Are you taking the one that goes through Juno, Sitka, and Scaggway? It's a gorgeous cruise... and early August is the best time to take it also... We're going through Juneau, Ketchikan and Scaggway  I've never actually been on a cruise before, so it should be fun.

Ours is going to be used to find my parents somewhere to live that will hopefully not cost so much to force us to choose between living arrangements and keep
up my father's health insurance. And paying for food. Pretty much covering the bases until Social Security gets in gear and approves my dad's
disability. And even through some miracle, if that comes through, we still have a lot of plain essentials that need to be taken care of. It'll have its
uses but still isn't nearly enough really. Still, we're thankful.

As much as I want to spend it on getting a Xena hoodie and more costume cards and a sword or two
 I'm saving mine so I can get a laptop for school so
I don't have to fight family for the computer at home or hang out at the library all day to get my papers done.

Whatever I get, I am putting it down towards the payment of my Bowflex. If it 300 or 600, it will help me pay off the machine I have wanted for years, and I
intend to get my butt in good shape again, so it is an investment in my health! Of course, pulling out the Iraq war within the next two years (we do have to
set a time table, otherwise we will never get out), and more of the money we are sending to everyone else ought to be used to rebuild our rails, roads,
bridges, tunnels, and mass transit. Not to mention more money devoted to education, and not just for kids, I think all citizens and legal residents should have
access to advanced education at a really reasonable price to make us more competitive in a global market where tech skills can make or break us. And we must
find a way as a species to protect and preserve this gift of a world from our greed and stupidity.
